Le Meridien Delfina, Santa Monica: Jonathan & Gina
I can’t explain how honored I was to be there for Jonathan and Gina on their wedding day! When I tell you I have the sweetest brides, I really mean it. Over the weekend of November 10th due to the natural disasters happening throughout Ventura County and Los Angeles County, Gina and Jon’s wedding venue had to immediately shut down the day of their wedding. If there was a day to be a bridezilla, this was the day! Instead, when I walked into the bridal suite, I experienced the complete opposite. I saw a beautiful bride with a smile on her face and bridesmaids willing to help do anything for their bestie! After a handful of venues, accepting then calling back to deny their request to host the wedding, the bridesmaids went downstairs to speak with Le Meridien Delfina, which was the hotel Gina was getting ready at and managed to book and set up the wedding just a couple hours before they would say I Do.
I saw relief in everyone’s face and the tears started flowing! I am so grateful that the managers and staff, who offered their free time to quickly prepare and host this miracle wedding! Even though the air was smoky and the light was dim, it did not stop us from celebrating these two lovebirds!
This day was an example of true love, kindness, patience, family support, and fun memories! Oh…and exquisite bridal style!
Thank you, Jon and Gina, for choosing me to be your wedding photographer. I am wishing you two nothing but the best as you continue your journey together! Congratulations to the newlyweds!
Special thank you to the amazing VENDORS who helped put together this wedding in such short notice!
